🧾 Job Responsibilities

The Assistant Finance Officer will be responsible for supporting financial transactions, managing records, and maintaining compliance with tax and financial reporting regulations.

Key Duties Include:

1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, invoices, and receipts
• Manage accounts payable (vendor payments) and receivable (client payments)
• Reconcile bank statements and petty cash balances
• Oversee payroll and reimbursements

2. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor income and expenses to ensure cost control and profitability

3. Billing & Invoicing

• Generate invoices for services like tour packages, flights, and hotel bookings
• Track incoming payments and manage overdue accounts
• Process refunds and adjustments according to policy

4. Tax & Compliance

• File taxes including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax
• Coordinate with external tax consultants to ensure compliance
• Stay informed on financial regulations relevant to the tourism sector

5. Cash Flow Management

• Monitor daily cash flow and liquidity requirements
• Liaise with banks for transactions, loans, or credit facilities
• Improve financial processes and reduce costs

6. Coordination & Support

• Work closely with the sales and operations teams
• Provide insights for budgeting, pricing, and strategic financial planning

7. Software Usage

• Use accounting software like Tally Prime or QuickBooks for recordkeeping and reporting

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• Experience: 0–2 years (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
