This re-announcement is specifically for two ICT Teacher positions at Damphu Central School and Damphu Middle Secondary School, starting in August 2025. We welcome applications from individuals with degrees in Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT), or equivalent qualifications, who also meet the basic recruitment criteria for the education service.

Position Summary

• Position Title: Teacher III – ICT
• Position Level: P5B
• Field: Education Service
• Number of Slots: 2
• Employment Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 17 months (From 1st August 2025 to 31st December 2026)
• Placement Locations: Damphu Central School and Damphu Middle Secondary School
• Pay Scale: Nu. 19,970 – 400 – 25,970

The successful candidates will join the school system as ICT teachers and will be responsible for delivering quality instruction in the subject of Information and Communication Technology to secondary-level students. The role requires strong academic grounding in ICT, along with effective classroom communication and teaching methodologies.

Minimum Qualification and Preferred Field

To be considered for these positions, applicants must hold:

• A Bachelor’s degree in ICT-related fields
• Preferably BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) or BIT (Bachelor of Information Technology)
• A Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PgDE) will be considered an added advantage

Evaluation & Shortlisting Criteria

The shortlisting process will be based on the following weighted criteria:

• Class XII Marks – 25%
• Bachelor’s Degree – 55%
• Relevant Training – 10%
• Subject-Specific Qualification or Experience – 10%

Candidates are advised to ensure their documents clearly reflect academic performance and any additional certifications or training relevant to ICT and teaching.

Role & Responsibilities

Selected candidates will:

• Teach ICT to middle and higher secondary school students
• Develop lesson plans, prepare teaching materials, and deliver interactive sessions
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams
• Participate in school programs, teacher development activities, and parent-teacher engagements
• Help students explore digital tools, responsible internet use, and basic programming or office software
